HUBBARD WINGSNAPPERS NEWSLETTER JULY 2008 




Meeting called to order at 6 pm. There were 14 members present. Pledge Allegiance was led by Dan Scott. Treasurer’s report was approved.
 

OLD BUSINESS:

-Dan thanked everyone involved in helping the shed go up and the roof get finished.
-Porta Potty delivered.

NEW BUSINESS:
 -Paint on shed and shelter to be finished this weekend.
-Ron Bleigh will use his truck to get slag for inside the shed.
-Denny discussed what he wanted done for the fly-in.
-First 25 non members will receive free gift, then club members.
-Ramp is needed for shed.
-Extra material laying around will be put in the tube for now.
-Motion to change meeting time tabled until next meeting.
-SPEKTRUM 7 CHANNEL RADIO will be the raffle prize for the next fly in. Tickets will be given out at the fly in to club members who attend and mailed to those who don't attend.

-Ron Bleigh won the 50/50.


FOR THE GOOD OF THE CLUB

-Lukas Burton received his Private Pilots Liscense!! Way to go Lukas!!

-Thanks goes to Tom Patterson who donated the plane for the giveaway, letting the club keep all the profits from the first fly in.

NEXT MEETING
AT THE FIELD SUNDAY AUGUST 17TH AT 6:00, UNLESS IT RAINS, THEN THE MEETING WILL BE HELD AT FRANKIES IN HUBBARD.
