HUBBARD WINGSNAPPERS NEWSLETTER MAY 2008 

 Meeting called to order at 6:10. Treasurer and secretary's report unavailble due to absence. The minutes were taken by President Dan Scott at the May meeting.


OLD BUSINESS:

-Appreciation to Tom Pirlo, Tom Patterson, Glen Walker and Jim Palko for their hard work repairing the tractor. We will explore the possibility of a better tractor toward Fall.
-Fun Fly chairman issues was revisited with nomination by Tom Patterson for Dennis Gartland which was seconded by Glen Walker. Dennis accepted the job with unaminous membership vote.
-Ken Jennings, club contest director, advises due to an AMA error, the club's Fun Fly's haven't been posted in the AMA magazine. He will explore further with AMA and Luke Simion who is listed as CD for both events.

NEW BUSINESS:

-Tom Patterson agreed to donate a Hanger 9 War Plane if is available at a reasonable cost for the Prize for the first Fun Fly raffle. THANK YOU TOM!!
-Ken Jennings suggested the club purchase the prize for the second raffle now, which will be a Spektrum radio.
-Dennis Gartland requested reimbursement for food concessions and Fun Fly Flyers.
-Availability of raffle ltickets will be explored with the club secretary/treasurer, Sue Simion, when she returns to town.
-Tom Patterson will seek approval for the shelter addition with the land owner, and will make arrangements for the work committee.

Fun Fly dates were set as July 20th and August 24th. PLEASE MARK THIS ON YOUR CALENDAR. 


Next meeting will be on Father's Day at 6 pm.
